Knowledge Based Systems, Inc. (KBSI) respects the privacy of all of its users and is committed to protecting such privacy in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy explains KBSI’s treatment of your personally identifiable information collected in connection with your activities on all KBSI web sites. 1. COLLECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

KBSI will not collect or use any personally identifiable information about the visitors to the Web Site and your visit to the Web Site is anonymous. The only information we automatically collect is that related to the use of our web site. This information is anonymous and is gathered through our servers’ log files. These log files record generic information, such as the number of visits our web site receives, the types of browsers used and the number of files downloaded, but never personal information. This log file information allows us to create better content aimed at our viewer’s preferences. The only exception is when we will need information that personally identifies you in order to fulfill a contractual obligation towards you pursuant to what is set forth in section 2 below.

2. CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION

If you make a purchase from the Web Site, you will be asked to provide your name, billing address, phone number, email and credit card information (if you have chosen credit card as payment method). KBSI will use such information only for processing your order and to send important product specific information such as receipt, invoice, or license key.  We may also occasionally send you product surveys or promotional mailings to inform you of other products or services available from KBSI unless you contact us in writing and indicate you would no longer like to receive such information.

The information you provide will not be used for any other commercial purposes and will not be sold, rented, leased or otherwise forwarded to any third party.  The only exception is that we occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, such as handling the processing and delivery of mailings, providing customer support, hosting websites, processing payment transactions, or performing statistical analysis of our services. Those companies will be permitted to obtain only the personal information they need to deliver the service. Accordingly, KBSI assumes no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any kind of material available at such sites and recommends that you review the separate privacy policies of such sites.

6. SPYWARE, ADWARE AND VIRUSES

As part of our commitment to personal privacy, none of our products contain any form of Spyware or Pop-up Ads and our computer networks and servers are monitored by programs that use standard corporate software to detect and eliminate most viruses, worms, Trojan horse files, etc.

7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

KBSI may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. Any changes will be posted to this site, so we encourage you to continuously review our Privacy Policy.
